My Fellow PRRYA YPs,
Warmest Greetings!
Our national organization PRRYA is now in 6 years existence, after we had Summer Youth Camp in Kiangan, Ifugao way back April 2003. The organization was organized as a People’s Organization focus on youth sector development where the PRRYA takes the lead in issues and development of its sector and other basic sectors, as of persistent and enthusiast of our honorable pioneers.
And now, the PRRYA will be celebrating its 6th Year Foundation Anniversary this forthcoming April 30, 2008 at the Tourist Resort, Perez, Quezon.The anniversary will be the highlight activity of the 10-day Summer Youth Camp which will start this coming April 20 till April 30.(see the attached schedule)
In this regards, we are inviting you to attend in our anniversary. It will be whole day and overnight activity. This gathering will serve as reunion of PRRYA young professionals, and acquaintance of new members from different provinces.And most importantly this will serve as venue for young professionals to come up a consensus role/contribution in the organization. (Registration fee is Php.500.00)

The Philippine Rural Reconstruction Youth Association or PRRYA was initiated by the Philippine Rural Reconstruction Movement, one of the oldest and the biggest non-government organization in the Philippines, part of its movement-building initiatives at the grassroots level. Recruitment went full blast in 1998, with chapters set up in 12 provinces (Albay, Bataan, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Marinduque, Nueva Ecija, Palawan, Quezon, North Cotabato, Baguio, Negros, and Sorsogon). Majority of its membership was school-based, with some chapters organized at the community level. For the past years, the chapters have and continue to undertake projects geared towards conservation and protection of local environments. But while these chapters generally reflected PRRM's VMG, there is still so much room for them to make a definite contribution to other initiatives.
